Photo shoot fun!

It’s been all go here this Weekend in the Forest. All of my new products have arrived and so the photo shoots start…… but where’s the sun when you need it? Typical!  So many days last week filled our little ‘Rosewood’ cottage with glorious sunshine (perfect for taking photos) and now the lights are being switched back on.

It won’t beat me! I’m determined to snap a few pictures.

Now, if only I can get our little ray of sunshine, Loki, and deer little Blue Dog to stay still and create the perfect picture? Hmmmmmm, this may take longer than I thought… they do say never work with children and animals. Still, at least it’s been lots of fun and they seem to have enjoyed Mummy making silly faces in the vain hope of getting at least one decent picture.

Photoshoot Fun!

The new ‘Deer Little Forest‘ wall stickers featured here are part of a brand new line of products coming soon to my ‘rose in the forest‘ etsy shop.

Spring in the Forest

No scribble today as I’ve been so busy printing my wall stickers in a beautifully sunny studio in Bournemouth. The stickers are looking lovely and are being photographed this week, ready for my website and my Etsy shop.

So instead of my daily scribble, here is a gorgeous photo of my two beautiful boys enjoying the Springtime here in the Forest. Glorious sunshine, where have you been and please stay a little while longer!

Snow Scribble Today!

It’s snowing again in the deer little forest, making a lovely scene from my studio window.

Today is all about designing packaging, not the most interesting of jobs but hugely important! How lovely it is to receive something though the post packaged beautifully and carefully. I’m making sure that all of the new Deer Little Forest products will be packaged and delivered in this way.

My lovely ‘Deer Little Forest’ customers deserve nothing less!

New Spring Goodies!

Spring Goodies!

The samples of my new Spring designs arrived last week looking lovely, a few tweeks were needed here and there and back to the printers they go for more samples. It can be a lengthy process but I’m only going to be completely happy once they are perfect. Oooh, they do look lovely and I can’t wait to photograph them and get them into my etsy shop for you.

New ideas this week for more Deer Little Forest products are being sketched and designed and daily trips out to the forest for inspiration are being made. I also decided this weekend to begin making a daily ‘little forest’ sketch, just something fun and a great way to get all those ideas in my imagination down onto paper.

So another busy week starts and I will leave you again with a snippet of inspiration I found recently by a Japanese artist called Shintaro Ohata. His mixed medium work reaches a new awesome level and is simply magical!

Have a wonderful day and hopefully I will share my daily sketch with you all later. x
